What the patient view shows
- The status of that one order
- The tests that were requested, by their ordinary names
- Which laboratory is handling it, and how to reach them
- The follow-up step your clinic recorded
For patients
DHealth's patient view is deliberately small. It answers one question — what is happening with this order, and what do I do next — without asking anyone to create a login.
In development
Scoped to one order. Nothing else.
No account, no password, no app to install. If you have no smartphone, the printed sheet carries the same information.
Whether the laboratory has the work, whether it is under way, whether results have been released to your clinician, and which laboratory to contact.
What your clinic has recorded as the follow-up, in plain language, in French.
A link or QR code from the clinic
Issued for one order. No account, no password, no app to install.
Where the order stands
Received, in progress, or released — the same states the staff see.
What happens next
Who to see, and when. Her clinician still explains the result.
Status, not results. The patient view shows where an order stands and what to do next — it is not a medical record, it does not interpret anything, and it is scoped to the one order it was issued for. DHealth Patient is in development.
Explaining a result is the clinician's work, with the patient in front of them. A status page is not the place to learn something about your health without a person to ask.
Access is issued by your clinic for a specific order, and the clinic can revoke or reissue it. The link is not a general account that follows you, and it does not open a medical record.
Contact your clinic or local emergency services. DHealth does not monitor orders, does not triage, and is not a route to urgent care.
